Stop & smell the roses.
If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you. when mountains crumble to the sea, there would still be you and me.

" I’m inspired by people
who constantly drift
back and forth,
like ocean waves
crashing on the shore,
over and over
and over again.
I felt like a rock —bounded
to the earth’s ground—
unmovable and awaiting
for a tranquility
during a tempest
that would never end.

People’s stories interest me so much. I could honestly sit there and listen to someone tell me about their life for hours. I love experiencing people that way, especially when they describe exactly how they felt in certain moments and how they dealt with things and where it lead them. I love listening to their view on the world and the events that happened in their life. I want to carry around as many different perspectives as I can.

I like cancelled plans. And empty bookstores. I like rainy days and thunderstorms. And quiet coffee shops. I like messy beds and over-worn pajamas. Most of all, I like the small joys that a simple life brings.

You are the one I want,
the one I always find
myself thinking of when I
can’t think straight. You
are the one I love, the one
I have been chasing after
even if I am running around
in circles. You are the one
I need, the one who helps
me be the person I want
to be. Without you, there
is no me. Without you,
I see no hope for tomorrow.
